We have designs made for 7 variants. We're happy to bring them all to life - it all depends on our customers! The more we sell of the core collection, the more we can produce limited editions and bonuses to the story.

By design we have limited the assembly time to under an hour so that every paper-curious customer could experience it. With further testing, we have seen most people assembling Creator One under 30 minutes.

It's a fastidious yet brilliantly exciting process. We start with end users: iterating concepts until we satisfy key components of their expectations. We never forget to include surprise elements in the DIY experience that will spark wonder. The final part is to ensure all fits into our brand guidelines, streamlined to make a cohesive, digestible ensemble.

We create a design brief for the selected product designer to easily grasp the art direction, the technical constraints and the the main DIY elements. It's not a standalone effort - in order for stories and products to successfully coexist, a coherent and ample brand universe is necessary. But we can't share much about that for now, stay tuned!

There are multiple ways to bring story characters to life in paper. Flat, in 3D, multi-layered... For Creator One we narrowed options down to the "paper craft" style, a technique playing with light and shadows to create an impression of contrasted depth.
