From concept to long-term vision
At the FOLDORI Studio, we won't count your follower base. We count the depth of a story and the maturity of its execution. While every year the FOLDORI brand builds more and more sets, we work hard to become Europe’s first co-creation powerhouse.
Here's the Fellowship Discovery template: examples of questions I’ll be asking you on WhatsApp once your application is selected, in order to better understand the fit between you, your concept, and the FOLDORI brand universe.
Fellowship Discovery
- "Tell me about the hero at the center of your world. FOLDORI thrives on characters that participate in multiple stories. Where do you see this hero in five years?"
- "We currently live in the realm of fantasy, but the Silvia Forest is vast. How does your story expand the current world, or does it invite us to a new intercultural frontier?"
- "A FOLDORI set is a bridge between a dream and a product. Do you have the experience to see your concept through to a finished storyboard before our engineers take over? What does your 'handover' kit look like (sketches, drafts, character sheets)?"
- "We're working in co-creation. How do you feel about a collaborative 'give and take' during the prototyping phase to ensure your vision meets Q’s laser constraints?"
- "Who is your hero speaking to? Our customers appreciate 'Excellent Taste' and 'Abundance.' How does your project serve their need for a 40-minute mindful escape?"
Fellowship Maturity
This checkpoint highlights the FOLDORI Technical Specifications we expect our creative partners to meet before we're ready for the Handover phase with Q and Mary. This is how we ensure your concept is structurally sound and emotionally resonant. We openly share our four concept tracks, so that it's evident for both co-creation parties what to expect from each other:

I use these questions to protect you. There is no sense in you spending weeks on a project that doesn't fit our paper physics, just as there is no sense in Q and Mary starting a prototype that isn't ready for laser cutting. My job is to make sure that when we finally say 'Yes', it’s a 'Yes' with a 100% chance of reaching the customer's hands.
