We do however take great care of our carbon footprint so our supply chain is geared towards Europe shipping, with international shipping made through consolidating multiple orders in the same region. If you want a screen-free evening that results in something you keep, yes. Sunrise Dreams assembles in under an hour at intermediate skill level. If you can follow illustrated steps and work carefully with paper, you can build a FOLDORI sculpture.

Intermediate. You should be comfortable reading illustrated instructions and handling paper with care. The score lines guide your folds. The Paper Belt mechanism holds the structure without adhesive. First-time builders succeed when they work at a steady pace and trust the engineering.

Most folds are reversible if caught early. The paper holds a precise fold the first time; forcing a fold in the wrong direction weakens the fiber. If you damage a critical layer, contact support. We assess case by case.

Fedrigoni Old Mill, an Italian uncoated stock at 250 grams per square meter for structural layers. The long fibers keep the laser-cut edge clean after repeated handling. Color layers use Fedrigoni Materica in tones derived from natural dyes: persimmon kakishibu for warm accents, ai-zome indigo for cool tones.

European mills maintained papermaking knowledge from the Asian paper-art tradition and adapted it to local fibers and dye practices. Italian paper mills produce acid-free, lignin-free stock that will not yellow or degrade over decades. The supply chain is shorter. Quality control is direct.

Every FOLDORI product clears four dimensions before it ships: technical mastery (the engineering precision behind every fold and joint), emotional resonance (the story that grounds the sculpture), real commitment (the time and care required to complete assembly), and brand consistency (the object holds to FOLDORI standards across material, craft, and narrative). If a product fails one dimension, it does not carry the FOLDORI name.

Each set ships in a rigid cardboard case with internal dividers that hold the layers flat. The case protects the paper during transit and doubles as storage after assembly. We treat the package as part of the object.

Sunrise Dreams is currently on pre-order: stock arrives on December 1st, 2026, and orders ship from that date. Once shipped, delivery takes 5 to 7 business days within the EU and 10 to 15 internationally, with a tracking number as soon as your parcel leaves. Returns accepted within 30 days of receiving the item. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Initiate returns via contact@foldori.com or your account orders page.
